The FCA 100 - Bill Nieno Memorial Bike Ride is a 100 mile fundraiser designed to support FCA’s Ministry to Coaches in the Twin Cities area. FCA unites, develops and mobilizes some of the most influential leaders in our world today; coaches. FCA’s Ministry trains and equips coaches to coach and live by biblical principles.  We give coaches the tools to instill positive character into their athletes and make an eternal impact in the lives of the next generation of leaders, parents, and coaches.

With your support we can transform the culture of sports from a “win at all cost” bottom line to an expression of the joy found in Jesus and a place where young people can experience the love of Christ and grow in Godly character.

Bill Nieno's Story

The impact of Bill Nieno’s life can be measured in many ways. He was a high school teacher, wrestling coach, interim Lutheran pastor and a caring and dedicated family man. Bill taught and coached for more than 20 years, and during that time he led the local huddle and took numerous groups to FCA conferences in Colorado, Texas and Minnesota. It was at these conferences that many athletes committed their lives to Christ. Bill loved teaching, preaching and coaching, but most of all he loved seeing the lives of kids being transformed by the love of Jesus.

Bill and his wife Virginia were the face of FCA in Southern MN for many years, and many volunteers grew to learn from their example what it means to be a “huddle leader."

It is in his memory and by following his example of faith and dedication that we dedicate this second annual FCA 100 - Bill Nieno Memorial Bike Ride. Riding to make an impact for the Kingdom of God.
