Advisory Board

Paul & Pam Olson

For over 45 years, Paul and Pam have delighted in the privilege and passion to support sports ministries. It began with a high school FCA huddle and now the Twin Cities FCA Collegiate ministry. A few years ago, they purchased the FCA House perched on the edge of the Macalester College campus. This place of ministry served as a launching pad for the ministry that serves multiple campuses and hundreds of athletes. Paul and Pam give joyfully of their time, talent and treasure. They mentor and inspire others to serve and give generously. They are blessed with three married children and seven grandchildren.

Glenn Martin

After a 37-year career in public education, I was blessed to serve as the MN FCA state director for seven years. Currently "retired," I work a few days a week at a senior residence.

My career in education was spent entirely in Spring Lake Park schools. Starting as a math teacher and coach, I moved into administration, spending the last 17 years as the high school principal. I have been married to Barb for 33 years and have two adult children and three grandsons, all of whom live in Iowa. My love of sports is transcended only by my love of family and Jesus! We have attended Calvary Church in Roseville for over 20 years and served in a number of ways.

Billy Frick

Our family is originally from Maryland and has been involved with FCA for over 20 years. My son Bray was saved at an FCA Lacrosse Camp at 7 years old. As a former college coach I have seen the impact this ministry has on athletes and culture of teams and this is a great motivator to be involved in the board.  My wife, Diana, and I live in Minnetonka with our son Bray, who is a sophomore student athlete at Benilde St Margaret’s. My wife is a school teacher at Magnuson Christian School and I work in the golf industry with Twin Cities Golf and Heritage Links Golf Club.

Micaela Elmore

As a former student athlete, the Lord so graciously used FCA to reach my heart and transform my life. Navigating the Christian life in a collegiate context is unique and I am passionate about supporting athletes identify the parallels between faith and sport. I met my husband, Gaelin Elmore at UTC in 2015. We live in the Twin Cities with our daughter Laniah. I work in Talent Acquisition and love helping people find jobs that match their God given gifts. It’s an honor to be a steward of this ministry and serve in this capacity. I see it as a privilege to get a front row seat to the miracles God reveals through this ministry.

Jon Gutierrez

I became a Christian through FCA’s college ministry, and see the impact of FCA on athletes, campuses, and culture. I am delighted to serve the larger Christian community through this advisory role with FCA. I have nearly 20 years of business experience, a Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and am currently the founder and Executive Director of one of Minnesota’s highest performing charter schools. I have been married to my wife Kelly for 33 years and we have three adult children.
