Not just a summer job.
You are literally changing the eternity of young athletes.
Minnesota FCA employs summer interns who want to make a difference in others, grow personally and as leaders, and ultimately support the vision of FCA to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.
The Internship
The 10-week summer internship can be viewed in two buckets:
- Personal Growth - We pour into our intern team with Christ-centered faith and leadership development.

GROW PERSONALLY
The intern team meets weekly with FCA staff and uses top-of-the-line resources to grow as Christ-centered leaders. This regular time to connect really bonds the team and not only creates lifelong friendships, but also gives you the tools to make disciples who make disciples.
GROW THE KINGDOM
What good is knowledge without the opportunity to execute? Interns will immediately take what they're learning and put it into practice at FCA camps, with local huddles, events, and more! The more you want to get involved, the more opportunities there are.

List of Services
-
Ana Schwarz, 2019List Item 1
"FCA is an amazing ministry. It's not just a summer job to earn some money. You are literally changing the eternity of some children. There's no better thing that you'd want to spend you time on."
-
Emily Rossing, 2020List Item 2
"It was honestly the best summer of my life, and I’ve had some great summers. The magnitude of the impact that it had speaks volumes, and it was fun. FCA didn’t feel like a job. It was my fun time. It was fun but meaningful. I knew I was digging into my spiritual life and doing what God has called us as Christians to do. I honestly think there isn’t a better thing to do with our summers than what God is calling you to."
-
Lily Owen, 2021List Item 3
"I think my favorite part [of the FCA internship] is the community that's built with the interns. Some of them are honestly people that I go to and say, 'hey this is going on in my life, I want to share this with you,' because I trust that they'll pray about it and bring it to God which is the safest place that it can be."
-
Renee Hinchcliffe, 2022
"Two of the girls in my camp huddle said yes to Jesus for the first time this week! It was really cool to watch their understanding deepen as the week went on and they became more comfortable sharing their thoughts, ideas, feelings, and questions. This was also a highlight ministry experience for me as this was the first time I have had the opportunity to walk someone all the way through the Gospel to the end point of accepting Christ."
