Wow, what an amazing group of adults and student-athletes God has placed at Pine City High School!
Over the past year and a half, I have been fortunate to have met with a group of adults and coaches who wanted to start an FCA Huddle in Pine City, Minnesota.
Here's how His plan rolled out:
They recruited a few athletes with a strong faith in Jesus and a vision to see the Gospel spread to their fellow teammates and classmates. They soon formed a student-athlete leadership team. After a few summer planning meetings, they launched the huddle at the beginning of the 2023-24 school year. Five adults continue to dedicate a lot of time and prayer to assist and provide leadership for the huddle.
As you can see in the photo above, with all their hard work and by God's grace, they were able to form a dynamic group of athletes to serve on the leadership team. They have seen a steady growth in the number of athletes attending the huddle, seeing around 30 or so student-athletes coming to the huddle.
Special thanks to the adult and student leaders for all they have done to make this vision a reality. Please pray that God will continue to protect, encourage, and empower them to grow the ministry!
