Praise God for a terrific story in the Waseca County News on John Conway, the FCA's South Central Area Rep and Camp Director for the Waseca FCA Junior Sports Clinic.
The story reflects the passion and commitment Conway and many of the servant leaders we rely on bring to the ministry.
"His whole life is devoted to FCA," Owen Lewer, 17, told the County News. "All his time is devoted to helping the kids. His energy is incredible."
Waseca's FCA Junior Sports Clinic celebrated it 25th anniversary, and the three-day clinic usually averages around 175 students, grades four through eight.
Conway reflected on how he got involved in FCA at a young age and how it helped shape his faith.
"The key word is influence," Conway told the County News. "Sports was my god growing up. Through FCA and the good role models there, I was taught to view sports as a gift from God."
