Highlights of Owatonna Junior Sports Clinic

Ryan Folken didn't know what to expect when he arrived for the Owatonna Area FCA Junior Sports Clinic with 24 students in grades 4-8.

But he was moved by the interaction between leaders and kids, and the presentation of the Gospel.

"It was high energy," Ryan said. "It wasn't just activity. It was much more."

The young athletes picked a sport (basketball, football, tennis, soccer and golf). But the highlight was three students committing themselves to Christ.

Ryan credited area director Stephanie Goetz for much of the camp's impact and success.

"Stephanie is always positive, interacts with everyone, and she’s purposeful and driven," Ryan said. "It seems like God is really working through her ministry."
