Cal Barr is from Duluth, Minnesota and attended college at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He fell in love with baseball at a young age and went on to play professionally.
Currently, he is a baseball and high school wrestling coach. His first involvement with FCA was in 1977 as a student leader at UMD. Later, he became involved as a coach as well. He officially joined staff in March 2001 and is passionate about the mission and vision of FCA.
As he puts it, “Sport is a gift from the Creator and embedded in sport are signposts to the Creator. In my work with coaches and athletes, I try to help them see the signposts and move towards the Creator.”
