2012 Cannon Falls Youth Sports Camp
   

The Cannon Falls Youth Sports Camp is a day camp for young athletes entering grades 1-6 (Fall 2012) who want to develop their skills as multi-sport athletes and build their personal character.  Campers will choose two sports to train in for the duration of camp.

Grades:  1 - 6 (Fall 2012)

Sports Offered:
     Morning Session:  Basketball, Football, Tennis
                                      
(note: softball has been cancelled)
     Afternoon Session:  Baseball, Soccer, Volleyball

Location:  Cannon Falls Field House

Camp Fee:  $75 (if paid in full by May 31)
                   $90 (June 1 - June 24)

Note:  Walk-up registrations will be accepted if space is available at a cost of $100 per camper. 

Registration Deadline:  Sunday, June 24

Cancellation Fee:  $25 (by Tuesday, June 26)
No-show Fee:  entire payment

What to Wear & Bring
Wear appropriate and modest athletic clothes and shoes for your sport. Please apply sunscreen before coming to camp as we will be spending time outside. Bring a sports bag, lunch, and water bottle with the camper’s name clearly written on them. Also bring an extra pair of sneakers to wear inside.

Baseball and softball participants - please bring a glove.
Tennis - please bring a racquet if you have one.

Camp Staff

Camp will be directed by FCA staff member James Bolin. James is a 2008 graduate of Crossroads College in Rochester where he graduated with a degree in Sports Ministry. James is on staff with FCA in Southeast Minnesota as the Campus and Camps Ministry Director. James also serves as the Schaeffer Academy Head Track and Field Coach.

The coaching staff will be led by college, high school and youth coaches. Our coaching staff is one of the best around, including coaches like Bucky Lindow, Head Baseball and Assistant Football Coach at Cannon Falls High School, Suzie Stachowski, Burnsville High School, Melissa Huseth, Volleyball Coach at Cannon Falls High School and Scott Nesbit, Head Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach at St. Olaf College.

In addition to our outstanding coaching staff, college and high school athletes will serve as assistant coaches and camp counselors.
